Meet the Directors
of New Morning Retreat Center
Matthew Eaton and Jenny Weber are the owners and directors of New Morning Retreat Center.
They both bring a range of ministry experience and personal passion to this endeavor.
Jenny Weber
Director
Jenny oversees daily operations and works with individuals and groups to plan their time at New Morning. Jenny is a graduate of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and brings over twenty years of parish ministry experience as a United Methodist Elder, with expertise in administration and teaching. She has a passion for spiritual formation and has led classes and retreats on Sabbath, prayer practices, and women's spirituality, just to name a few.
Matthew Eaton
Director
Matthew oversees buildings and grounds and uses his creativity in woodworking, gardening and overall design. He is a graduate of Chicago Theological Seminary and is an ordained UCC clergy person with over twenty years of experience as a hospital chaplain. In addition to providing spiritual care for patients and staff, Matthew has mentored medical students and CPE students, led support groups and overseen worship services at Loyola University Medical Center where is on staff.
